Dear friends,
World Jewish Congress (WJC) invites Jewish communities to join in a powerful expression of our respect for history and faith in the future, in a way that has not been done before, to ensure that the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust are never forgotten.
WJC is launching the We Remember campaign in which they are asking millions of people to photograph themselves holding “We Remember” signs and then to upload these photos directly to Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram with the hashtag #WeRemember. You may also to email the image to weremember@wjc.org.
The purpose and reason: The number of Holocaust survivors and witnesses is decreasing. There are still genocides occurring all over the world. There are those who say that the Holocaust never happened. We need to educate the next generation.
The coordinator of this campaign is Sacha Dratwa sdratwa@wjcmail.org.
