The primary point of the annual Community campaign “Mitzvah Days” lies in uniting various generations of Community members so that they could bring the joy and warmth of friendly communication to one another. It has become a tradition that numerous volunteers visit the elderly of the Community at home during these days to talk, bring gifts, share news about Community life and listen to their interesting, often dramatic and sometimes incredible stories.

The participants of the campaign include experienced volunteers, young people, madrichim, Jewish children and parents, Community employees and students of Tallinn Jewish School. Every year, we are glad to welcome anyone who would like to carry on this genuinely important and kind Jewish tradition.

Financial support of the campaign in recent years has been provided by the Kofkins’ family Foundation.
