The Social Centre of the Jewish Community of Estonia is there to provide assistance to the most vulnerable groups of the Jewish population of the country, – the retired, the disabled, single-parent families and children from low-income families, – so that they could have a dignified lifestyle in the complicated circumstances of our modern world. We also ensure that Jewish values are preserved. The people we support feel cared for, and the fact that the support comes from the Jewish Community in particular, which has become a large Jewish family for many, is especially important to them.

The Social Centre of the Jewish Community of Estonia operates in nine cities: Tallinn, Tartu, Narva, Sillamäe, Kohtla-Järve, Rakvere, Pärnu, Viljandi and Valga.

A brief list of the programmes that the Social Centre provides for the Community members is given here. Detailed descriptions of the programmes are available in the related section.

Director of the Social Center is Olga Gorchakova (699 0569, olga.gorchakova@jewish.ee)
